Custom Artwork Guidelines
Help Us Create the Best Possible Custom Product
High-quality artwork helps us produce a clean, professional result on your apparel, drinkware, gifts, and accessories. Please review these guidelines before uploading or emailing your design.
Preferred File Formats
We recommend submitting artwork in one of the following formats:
-
PNG: High-resolution with a transparent background
-
PDF: Print-ready artwork
-
SVG, EPS, or AI: Preferred for logos and vector artwork
-
JPG or JPEG: Accepted only when the background is intended to be part of the design
Whenever possible, avoid screenshots, social-media downloads, thumbnails, and images copied from websites. These files are usually too small or compressed for quality printing.
Image Quality
Raster artwork should be submitted at 300 DPI at the intended print size. Enlarging a small or low-resolution image may cause it to appear blurry, pixelated, or distorted.
Please upload the original artwork file whenever possible. Sending a low-quality preview of a high-quality design may delay your order or require additional artwork preparation.
Transparent Backgrounds
If you do not want a colored or white box printed behind your design, submit a PNG with a transparent background or a vector file.
A white background in an uploaded file is not automatically transparent. If the background needs to be removed, an artwork-preparation fee may apply.
Text and Fonts
Check all names, dates, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation carefully before submitting your artwork.
For vector files, convert fonts to outlines or include the required font files. If a font is unavailable, we may need to substitute a similar style.
Design Size and Placement
Tell us where you want the design placed and approximately how large you want it. Common placements include:
-
Full front
-
Left chest
-
Full back
-
Sleeve
-
Hat front
-
Tumbler wrap
-
One-sided drinkware design
-
Two-sided drinkware design
Final design size and placement may vary slightly depending on the product, garment size, seams, pockets, zippers, and printable area. Designs may be adjusted proportionally across different garment sizes unless another arrangement is approved.
Color Information
Colors displayed on a phone, tablet, or computer monitor may look different when printed. Product material, garment color, print method, lighting, and screen settings can affect the final appearance.
Although we work to reproduce colors as accurately as possible, exact screen-to-print or product-to-product color matching cannot be guaranteed. Please provide specific color information when accurate brand colors are important.
Design Cleanup and Recreation
Artwork that is blurry, incomplete, improperly sized, or missing a transparent background may need to be cleaned up or recreated before production.
Basic adjustments may be included when possible. Complex editing, logo recreation, background removal, vector conversion, or original design work may require an additional fee. We will notify you before completing any chargeable artwork service.
Proof Approval
A digital proof may be provided for custom orders when necessary. Proofs are intended to confirm the general design, wording, colors, size, and placement.
Please review every detail carefully. Production will begin after approval, and Rocker Kid Co. is not responsible for errors that were present in customer-supplied artwork or approved proofs.
Copyright and Permission
By submitting artwork, you confirm that you own the design or have permission to reproduce it. This includes logos, photographs, characters, team marks, business names, trademarks, and other protected content.
Rocker Kid Co. reserves the right to refuse artwork that may violate copyright, trademark, privacy, or other applicable rights.
